I was recently informed that thirteen of my images had been selected to decorate the clinic of a Minneapolis based doctor. This was a bit of a surprise and of course a huge honor with an especially deep meaning.
Raised in the South West
Many of you know that I have a very deep affinity for the desert southwest. Being born in Los Angeles, I had been exposed to oceans, mountains and deserts and I have a deep love for all three. When we were kids my dad and his buddies would get their dune buggies together and we would go out into the desert for a whole day of running around in the dune buggies exploring the incredible stark landscapes. We were able to experience the desert in an up-close-and-personal way that is different from how the vast majority of the population experiences the desert. These youthful experiences created a very deep bond with the desert in general and the Southwest in particular.
The images for this collection have been collected over years of family adventures going to the southwest.
First Photography Journey
There was one particular trip that we actually drove from Minnesota to Colorado where we picked up our rented RV so that we could spend time exploring four of the most incredible national parks our country has to offer.
The trip took us to Bryce Canyon,
and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon.
Of course there is never enough time to fully experience places like this but we did our best to explore as much as we possibly could. These places continue to be on the list to get back to again when we have more time to slow down and experience these incredible places of beauty. But with that being said just imagine the images that can be captured from a trip like this. I’m almost shaking with excitement right now as I remember this adventure.
Arizona Photography Adventure
More recently we took the opportunity to explore the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and other areas of northeast Arizona.

Lake Powell North East Arizona
Antelope Canyon Navajo Tribal Park
The Amazing Horseshoe Bend Arizona
It’s fun to see these images again and notice how my photographic style has changed over the years and I suppose my skill has improved dramatically also. Images from this entire time span have been selected for the doctor’s office art collection. It is always fun to see what people select and what images move them.
If you are a lover of the southwest region of the United States and you are looking for images of that region you can find these and more of my images in Southwest Image Collection Here.
Thank You
So I want to say thank you to the art dealer who made this deal possible and thank you to the doctor who selected my images to decorate his office. Also I want to thank all of you for encouraging me along this journey and for giving me valid constructive criticism to help me improve my work and for purchasing my work to support me along this artistic voyage. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Conclusion
I hope you found this article helpful and if you did, please put it into action and share it with your friends on your social media outlets. Social media can change your life like it has changed mine.
And until next time get out and capture the adventure!
